It also comes with AI programming that can detect the floor type and adjust the suction accordingly.

What we like

Superior cleaning prowess

The suction power on this Samsung cordless vacuum is supreme.

For cleaning, the Bespoke Jet AI is one of the most powerful vacuum cleaners we’ve ever tested. To test pure suction power, we placed a selection of dirt that shifted to between 425 and 600 microns on medium carpets.

We set the Bespoke to Jet mode—the highest setting—and found it picked up about 90% of the testing dirt. That places it in the same tier as the previous model we tested and in a match for any Dyson.

We also tested the Jet AI against pet hair and large debris like uncooked rice. For picking up crumbs, keep the unit in AI mode. This way, it will automatically adjust the suction and brush spin. However, on higher settings, the vacuum sometimes flicks crumbs away rather than picking them up.

It comes with a wide variety of attachments and features

The Active Dual brush head features two rollers that do a fantastic job of cleaning floors.

The Jet AI comes with plenty of attachments and features without being overwhelming. The first is the Jet Active Dual brush. This main brush head gets the “dual” moniker because it has two rollers.

The front roller is soft and anti-static, so it can pick up fine dirt from hardwood without scratching it. The back roller has widely spaced bristles to avoid tangles and easily suck up debris.

Our testing showed that this brush head is a great generalist and works well on bare floors and carpets.

The combination tool is ideal for dusting elevated surfaces like shelves and tabletops. When combined with the included crevice tool, you get everything you need to clean in and around your furniture.

If you have a pet or live with someone who sheds hair like crazy, this vacuum can clean it up with the help of its pet tool. Pet hair does not stand a chance with the plastic paddles that scrape the hair off upholstery.

Finally, it has a superior battery. Samsung claims it has the longest-lasting battery life of any cordless vacuum. If you read the fine print, it says the experiment was done without a motorized attachment, meaning no brush head. Based on our testing, the Hoover OnePwr has a battery that lasts about seven percent longer.

The displays shows you how much battery life you have left while vacuuming.

That caveat aside, our testing showed that with the Jet Active Dual brush head attached, you get about 17 minutes of use on the highest setting and over 30 minutes when set to the AI setting.

It is easy to use and well-designed

The self-sealing bag is located inside the charging dock.

There are four design choices for the Samsung Bespoke Jet AI that make it more user-friendly than its competitors.

First, this is a self-emptying vacuum. When you place the unit on its freestanding docking station, you can press a button that causes a secondary vacuum to suction out all the stuff in the dust bin and place the contents into a self-sealing bag. This is good news for allergy sufferers since emptying the vacuum doesn't cause a dust plume. It also adds a layer of filtration.

Second, the brush head has bright LED lights on the front. This allows you to illuminate dirt under furniture and on your carpets.

The third design feature we like is the telescopic wand. Many companies don’t use telescopic wands because they can cause suction leakage and are more expensive to produce. But a good telescopic wand helps you reach higher and reduce arm strain if adjusted to the right height.

The rubber grip makes this Samsung cordless vacuum comfortable to hold.

Lastly, we like the shape of the grip. The handle is covered in textured rubber, making it easy to manage. There’s also a shelf for your index finger that allows you to get leverage on the brush.

To wrap everything up, we also like the overall aesthetic of the Bespoke Jet AI. This is a cordless vacuum that is designed to be displayed rather than hidden away in a closet. The model that we tested has a subdued satin black finish so it isn't shinny or plastic-looking. It works with practically any decor. LG also makes a freestanding and self-emptying cordless vacuum, but it has a much more technological look to it. So if you're interested in a vacuum that is always at hand and easy on the eyes, then this is the one to get.

What we don’t like

It lacks some accessories previous models had

The new Bespoke lacks the tool cradle the previous model had.

The older Samsung Bespoke Jet vacuum came with a few accessories that this new one lacks. The one thing that we miss the most is the accessory cradle.

We did complain last time that the cradle took up extra space and that storing it in the dock was better. But there is still no onboard storage, and the cradle is gone.

The older Bespoke also came with two extra batteries. Technically, the new batteries have the same power as the previous ones, but more batteries are always better.

It’s pricey

The MSRP is $1,000, so suffice it to say, this vacuum is expensive. We think it offers plenty of value, but we understand that the price tag will turn many consumers away.

If you’re not interested in a self-adjusting, self-emptying cordless vacuum, we suggest checking out the highly affordable Tineco A10 Hero.

What consumers are saying

We actually got the Samsung Bespoke Jet AI before it launched. So, all the online reviews at the time of publication are Samsung incentivized, meaning they are from people who received a free vacuum. There are more than 30 five-star reviews on Samsung’s website.

Should you buy the Samsung Bespoke Jet AI?

Yes, it is the best cordless stick vacuum.

We get that the Samsung Bespoke Jet AI is expensive, but if you want the best, this is worth the investment. That premium gets you superior cleaning power, super user-friendly features, and self-emptying functionality. Overall, you’re getting a ton of high-end technology that makes cleaning your floors easier.
