Something really magical happens when a product delivers fashion, function, and sustainability. One such unicorn product is the Material reBoard, the best plastic cutting board we've tested that also happens to be made of 75% recycled plastic and 25% renewable sugarcane. And to make matters even better, the brand just launched three bold new colors.
About the launch
Material released its recycled plastic cutting boards in three new colors: Anemone (violet), Kumquat (orange), and Azure (blue). Anemone is the only new color for our fave full-sized plastic cutting board, but the mini reBoard—25% smaller than the reBoard and perfect for cutting cheese and slicing single-serve fruit—now comes in Kumquat and Azure. All three colors are limited-edition, so run don't walk!
Why we love this cutting board
Material's mini reBoard is 25% smaller than our favorite plastic cutting board, the reBoard.
Beyond its sustainability and beauty, this board was a top-performer during testing. It's easy to handle and quiet to use thanks to its lightweight construction. This cutting board is BPA-free, dishwasher-safe, and reversible.
This board might not be the best for chopping juicy tomatoes or succulent steaks because it doesn't have a groove for collecting liquid. That said, no groove means it's super easy to slide food off the board.
If you're more of a minimalist when it comes to color, we've got you covered, too. Check out the full list of the best cutting boards we've tested.
