The H310A Hurom Slow Juicer allows for freshly pressed juice that is easy to clean up.

According to the Hurom website, this is the world’s best-selling slow juicer brand. Instead of rapidly juicing ingredients, which involves shredding fruits and vegetables with blades, Hurom juicers slow-squeeze, allowing for the natural taste and nutrition to remain intact. No heat is used, so the nutritional composition of the juice is not at risk of degrading.

All Hurom juicers are 100% BPA-free and are free from any blades or sharp parts, which is a welcomed feature for people who make juice with children and prioritize safety.

The motor comes with an extremely long warranty (10 years) and the machine is made with durable materials like stainless steel. This juicer can extract liquid from fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, herbs, and spices.

How we tested the H310A Hurom Slow Juicer

Everything from leafy greens to solid ginger get passed through the juicer to test its mettle.

We started with the easy stuff and worked our way to progressively denser ingredients to see if this juicer could handle everything we like to juice. Then we combined ingredients to ensure the juicer could handle a variety at once.

From juicy citrus to fibrous kale and apples to dense carrots, beets, and ginger—we put many of the most popular juice ingredients through the juicer, measured yield of both juice and solids, and taste-tested the results.

What we like

There's a high yield of juice from the ingredients

The Hurom H310A Slow Juicer extracts just about the maximum amount of juice that produce can yield.

The way that the juicer presses the juice out of the ingredients allows for a high yield of juice. The waste is clearly “juiced” and it is amazing to see how much juice results from using this machine.

It’s easy to clean

The Hurom Slow Juicer comes apart fully and the individual parts are easy to clean.

Some juicers are easy to use but they are a nightmare to clean. Getting into the nooks and crannies of the juicer can be so tedious that it makes making your own juice utterly unappealing.

While the parts of the Hurom H310A Slow Juicer aren’t dishwasher-safe, they are incredibly easy to clean. Thanks to minimal pieces that are easy to dismantle from the base, the post-juice cleaning process is a breeze. The juicer comes with a dedicated scrub brush to make any necessary scrubbing quick and easy.

It rids itself of waste as it juices

This Hurom Juicer sends solid waste into a separate receptacle as it juices.

The juicer doesn’t just dispense the juice as it works, it rids itself of the solid waste as well. Since the waste gets pushed out into a separate container, there is very little to clean out once the juicing process is complete.

It’s extremely quiet

Another drawback of many juicers is that they are extremely noisy when in use. This machine is on the quieter side when it is pressing the ingredients. While it isn’t completely noise-free, it is significantly quieter than other juicers we’ve tested.

What we don’t like

It takes longer to get a glass of juice than other brands

The method of slow juicing has its benefits, but it warrants pointing out that the process is, in fact, slow.

When comparing the length of time it takes to make a glass of juice in this machine versus other machines, it is clear that you will be waiting a bit longer. But, as the name suggests, Hurom prides itself on being a slow juicer because it claims this process results in better quality juice.

Slow is relative: A 16-ounce glass of juice takes about 5 minutes in this juicer, depending on the produce you're juicing. It could take as little as a minute with other types of juicers, but you might see greater waste or lower quality juice. The results of slow-pressing are delicious—just know that you won’t be enjoying juice in seconds when using this machine but the wait is well worth it.

For a slow-pressed juice experience at home, we found the H310A Hurom Slow Juicer an excellent option.

Yes, if you appreciate high-quality slow pressed juice

If you want juice-bar quality freshly pressed juice made in the comfort of your own home, then the Hurom Slow Juicer is a worthy investment. Yes, it has a hefty price tag, but this machine certainly delivers. As a lower-priced option for pressed juice, we also like the Omega Cold Press 365.

If you are less of a fresh juice connoisseur and you prioritize making juice quickly with a machine that has a lower price point, the Magic Bullet Mini Juicer can be an option. At a fraction of the price, this machine makes homemade juice quickly and efficiently.
