What is Paramount+?
Paramount+ is a subscription streaming service from ViacomCBS that replaced CBS All Access when it first launched in 2021. Paramount+ offers TV shows, movies, and sports content from various sources including the CBS network, BET, Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Pictures, and a few others. While it launched with a large library of existing shows and movies, there's also some original programming.
How much does Paramount+ cost?
You can subscribe to Paramount+ with ads for $4.99 per month. If you can’t stand ads, then you can pay $9.99 per month to stream shows and movies ad-free. Starting June 27, 2023, prices will increase to $5.99 and $11.99 per month.

Get Paramount+ free with a Walmart+ subscription
Last summer, Walmart announced its partnership with Paramount+ which offers the streaming service for free with a Walmart+ subscription. In addition to the usual free shipping and grocery delivery, exclusive discounts, and fuel savings that come with Walmart+, subscribers can also get a Paramount+ subscription included for free, giving access to tons of streaming content. Walmart+ offers a 30-day free trial and it costs $12.95 per month once the trial period is over.
What does Paramount+ include?

Billed as a well-rounded streaming service, Paramount+ includes TV shows, movies, and sports. Subscribers have access to on-demand content and the ability to tune into live stations.
Paramount+ offers episodes from CBS, BET, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, and the Smithsonian Channel, there are movies from Paramount Pictures, and you get access to live stations like CBS, CBSN, CBS Sports HQ, and ET LIVE. You can also watch your local CBS affiliate with Paramount+.
Get access to Showtime with a Paramount+ subscription
In January, Paramount announced its plans to merge Paramount+ and Showtime into a streaming bundle. Starting June 27, Showtime will fully integrate with Paramount+ and its streaming tier will be Paramount+ with Showtime, which will cost $11.99—a $2 increase from its current premium tier. Paramount+ will still be offered on its own without Showtime and the Showtime app will be removed at the end of the year. This merger comes just a month after Warner Bros. Discovery launched Max—the merger of HBO Max and Discovery+.

- "Fatal Attraction" – A new series that reimagines the original 1987 film.
- "Waco: The Aftermath" – A drama series that follows the aftermath of the tragic 1993 FBI standoff in Waco, Texas.
- "Criminal Minds: Evolution" – The new season that gives a fresh take on the hit crime series.
- "The Real Criminal Minds" – A true crime documentary series spin-off of The Real Criminal Minds.
- "The Game" – A reboot of the BET sitcom.
- "Star Trek" – Every upcoming Star Trek show including Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Brave New Worlds, and Section 31.
- "The Stand" – A miniseries based on Stephen King’s famous book.
