Streaming service prices can add up after a while and one of the bigger names in streaming is about to up its annual fee. Disney+ will be increasing the prices of its various tiers this fall so if you want to watch the best of entertainment with the push of a button, time's running out to get it for a wallet-friendly price. Starting Thursday, October 12, the Disney+ Premium tier with ad-free access to shows and movies will increase by 27% from $10.99 to $13.99 a month. Meanwhile, the Disney+ Basic tier with ads during programming will stay at $7.99 a month. If you want even more watch options, the Disney+ Trio with Hulu and ESPN+ included will also see price hikes this fall: the Trio Basic tier with ads will jump from $12.99 to $14.99 a month and the Trio Premium tier without ads will go from $19.99 to $24.99 a month.
If you want the complete entertainment package, the Disney+ Trio is the way to go. For starters, Disney+ offers content from some of the most popular franchises like Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and more. You can stream originals like Strange World, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and The Mandalorian, revisit classics like The Simpsons or tune in to new film releases like The Little Mermaid and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Meanwhile, Hulu is home to fresh shows like Not Dead Yet, new seasons of hit series like The Handmaid's Tale and acclaimed films like Prey. In addition to new series and films, Hulu also has series like the Emmy Award winning Abbott Elementary, Bachelor in Paradise, 9-1-1, What We Do in the Shadows and Animaniacs, as well as popular films including Shaun of the Dead, The Royal Tenenbaums, Robots and more.
